J F C, I really can't stand a certain segment of Hawks fans.

Have no idea what they're talking about when it comes to hockey, but being Chicagoans, keep blurting it out.

Makes me almost want to spend time with some Minnesotans...

Yeah, you're not welcome here either. :D

'bout to head into downtown Tampa. My heart says Wings win another close one, my mind says Tampa answers in game 2 to tie things back up.

The Rock says "It Doesn't Matter What Your Mind Thinks, Jabroni!" LGRW.

The photoshop thread on HFBoards this year is a classic even by their standards. And we're only a few days in.

NOW you're comin' around to my viewpoint! :D

Unless a miracle comeback happens, let's take the split and come back to the Joe tied at 1 game a piece.

Oh, absolutely. Splitting the openers down here was a fine result, even if we totally stole one. Tampa needs to win at JLA to win the series now, and Wings haven't even sniffed their best hockey yet this series, although today was an improvement in some areas.

That said, since I don't get to watch much Wings hockey during the season, Holy Hannah and Mary we have match up issues at defense. Pylon central today.

I thought the wings were better at times, but there were too many breakdowns at bad times. I do think they can certainly play better, but the way Tampa plays you have to score the first goal.

Also, I'm less and less thrilled with the draft lottery.

Oilers win the lottery

Trade it or keep it?

McDavid - go or Lindros it?

Keep it. There's no way having he number one pick, or 4 out of the last 6 of them, cannot immediately push the Oilers into the playoffs.

I'm sorry but that's how many times they've won it now?
That kind of luck seems not real.

Edmonton's getting Pittsburgh treatment now. 4 #1 pick in 6 years. They should fold if they can't make the playoffs this time.

those are barely better playoff odds than 3 out of the last 5 :D
