Re: NHL 2015, Part 3: Stanley Cup and Offseason

This almost makes up for the NC game debacle. Almost.

Re: NHL 2015, Part 3: Stanley Cup and Offseason

Says here Toews hands the Cup to Kimonen ala Sakic & Borque

Re: NHL 2015, Part 3: Stanley Cup and Offseason

Enough with the booing the comishioner crap.

Re: NHL 2015, Part 3: Stanley Cup and Offseason

Great series. Deserved a game 7, but that's my only complaint.

Re: NHL 2015, Part 3: Stanley Cup and Offseason

What a phenomenal game the Hawks and Corey Crawford played tonight. At their best in the biggest moments. I love this team.

3 Cups in 6 years . That's a dynasty it todays day and age.

I was trying to come up with the list of all the guys who have been a part of all 3 without looking.

Toews
Kane
Sharp
Hossa
Seabrook
Keith
Hjalmarsson

Is that it? versteeg missed the middle year I think right or did he come back in the 2013 season.

You nailed it.

And we're both smarter than Jeremy Roenick. #SaadOnlyHasTwo

Re: NHL 2015, Part 3: Stanley Cup and Offseason

Unreal.

I feel fortunate to be a fan of this team and to have been on this most recent ride.

The last 8 years have been such a blast and a reward for the failures, heartbreaks and near misses of the 80s and 90s and the dark decade that came between.

I get to go shopping for swag next week! :D

Re: NHL 2015, Part 3: Stanley Cup and Offseason

So the Brewers totally shouldn't rebuild right? ****in moron
.

Lolwot?

Don't be mad that you were wrong about Toews. You're wrong about just about everything.

We expect it from you.

Now run along and troll a cop thread.

Ferguson! No justice, no peace!

Re: NHL 2015, Part 3: Stanley Cup and Offseason

Didn't get to watch tonight (no signal on the boat), but fantastic series.

While I 'adopted' Tampa after they eliminated Detroit, a friend who lived just up the street from me growing up is the Blackhawks video coach, so that's pretty neat.

Re: NHL 2015, Part 3: Stanley Cup and Offseason

I don't think this is the last that we'll see of Tampa.

I enjoyed the series against the Bruins more, but in some ways, the Lightning were a bigger pain to play against - in a good way.

A torch may have been handed tonight. Time will tell.

IMO, a lot of it will depend on if they re-sign Stamkos. But Stevie Y is doing things right in Tampa for sure, they'll be playing 83+ games for a while.
