Re: NHL 2015-16: John Scott for MVP!

Will this game end 8-0? Probably not, but the b-hawks sure do suck today.

Re: NHL 2015-16: John Scott for MVP!

Hawks played the last 10 min of 1st well. But not much else.

Wild need playoff points, so makes sense they were hungry.

Wild playing like it's a game 7.

Hawks playing like it's a Sunday afternoon in February.
That's exactly what it is... It's nothing new, but I had hoped the Hawks would have had the switch in the "on" position this afternoon... I guess they're over the hype of outdoor games now...

Focus, determination and execution were all there. Congratulations to the Wild. I'm guessing they would have beaten any team in the league today. I'd only add that most of the other teams would have given them a better game.

I'd go a little further. The Hawks showed up to play an All-Star Game -- Old Format. Add the White House visit to the picture, and it's like they decided to take a week off.

Big picture, it's just 1 game of 82. Still feeling good about the season. But geez.

Re: NHL 2015-16: John Scott for MVP!

I'd rather see an empty net penalty shot instead of an auto goal.
Even as a Blackhawks fan, that was my initial reaction.

But think it through. With an EN penalty shot, you're quickly into the realm of hijinks & styling. Think All-Star Game Skills Contest.

Better to leave the rule the way it is.

Didn't get to watch it yesterday coz TV rights/FSN sucks/NHL sucks, but just watched the replay.

I need to find both these games online somehow. :(

Saw the contact with Dubs replay - he clearly made contact to the head not sure how anyone could see it otherwise. He might, might have embellished although he'd have to have then flung himself backwards against himself with both legs in a kneeling position.

Both sweaters were awesome and the atmosphere looked great.

I thought Doobs sold that pretty good.
Loved the Hawks sweaters.

Toronto Maple Leaf race to #1 with the Blue Jackets and Oilers continues.

Leafs strike a major blow by sending Polak and Spaling to the Sharks for 2nd round picks in 2017 & 2018 & the salary of Raffi Torres

Re: NHL 2015-16: John Scott for MVP!

Wilson has completely lost his touch with getting Torres to start with. Now he gets rid of him for two picks for a pair of pylons. When they crash and burn this April, I hope they finally fire him.

So, are you trying to say the "Orange Cone" defense strategy isn't a winner?
