NHL 2015-16: John Scott for MVP!

Re: NHL 2015-16: John Scott for MVP!

Shaw gets a game and an invoice for $5,000.

I'm honestly surprised the league suspended him, though I'm certainly happy about it.
Hey now, a true champion wants to play opponents who are at their best. Beating shorthanded teams doesn't mean as much.

Win a Cup; you'll come to understand.:p;)

Re: NHL 2015-16: John Scott for MVP!

Caps lose to Flyers 2-1, still lead 3-1. Lose on Friday and calls to Dr. Heimlich will be made.

Re: NHL 2015-16: John Scott for MVP!

Dallas has apparently forgotten how to play hockey in games 3 and 4.

I'll be discerning after the first one. For now, I don't give a ****.

:)

Come to think of it, I didn't feel all that sorry for Chris Pronger back in 2010. That was an injury rather than suspension, but it's basically the same point.

No one in their right mind feels sorry for Chris Pronger. He was a d*uche. :D

Plus, he'd already won his Cup (mother*#($*(#$*(!!!1), no matter the circumstances.

Re: NHL 2015-16: John Scott for MVP!

Blues simply want it more.

You can assemble talent, but will can and does beat skill.

Series isn't over, but the Hawks just don't seem to have the will this year. The mental push that is required to win in the meat grinder that is the NHL playoffs.

I won't count this team out though. They've shown a ton of sack over the years and if anyone can do it, these Hawks can.

And I don't blame Shaw for tonight. Not even a little. He was easily the best Hawk tonight.

Wish we had 6 of him.

Toews - 0 and Kane - 0 is a factor as well.

Re: NHL 2015-16: John Scott for MVP!

My 75y.o. mom has become quite the hockey fan over the past 10-15 years due to staring out watching my son play and then starting to follow the Badgers. Before that, she had zero interest. My dad still has zero interest.

Anyway...

She watches the Hawks whenever they are on and texts me during games, etc.

This morning I get, "Loved it when Crawford went after Blues guy."

:D

She gets it.

Re: NHL 2015-16: John Scott for MVP!

Not allowing myself to believe that tonight could be Pavel Datsyuk's final game in the NHL. Nope, not going out like this.

Re: NHL 2015-16: John Scott for MVP!

Would she have loved it as much if the penalties had been called the way the rules say they should have been and the Hawks were on the PK, potentially down 5x3?

Lol

Could you be any more of a b_tch?

You're team is up 3-1. Try to enjoy the moment and not take everything so seriously.

Re: NHL 2015-16: John Scott for MVP!

And still whining about the refs, I see.

Re: NHL 2015-16: John Scott for MVP!

We'll see how tonight plays out. I think I can exceed this level of bɨtch if I really try.

The key is to enjoy the ride. I certainly have and am.

My advice? Close it out tonight. The Hawks could wake up at any moment. ;)

PS - Too bad Els wouldn't answer Crow's challenge although being an Elliott fan, I wouldn't have wanted to see him get his arse handed to him.
