Re: NHL 2015-16: John Scott for MVP!

Wings and Bruins are tied with one game left, Flyers down 1 with two left. Wings own the tiebreaker over both teams.

Wings get in with:
A) Win
B) OTL AND Boston Loss or OTL
C) OTL AND Philly W/L or L/W or OTL/OTL or worse
D) Loss AND Boston loss OR Loss and Philly L/OTL or worse

Ottawa may just take care of our worries. 4-1 on Boston at the moment.

And it's official! Funny the help comes from a Canadian club, with none of them in for the first time in decades.

Re: NHL 2015-16: John Scott for MVP!

In January, the Sharks were so bad that the Bruins were going to get a top 10 pick on top of their own. Today, the Bruins might miss the playoffs and the Sharks clinched a week ago. But they'll have a pick around 17-20 to make up for it.

The consummate professional. You could tell something wasn't *quite* right with him this year, but goddamm did he have flashes of the old Datsyuk shine through this season.

It makes me sad that this will be his final year in the NHL, but his exit strategy hasn't been secret. Only the timing. I'm going to miss him.

Let's get him one last Cup as a parting gift.

I kind of chuckle that he's going home because he doesn't see his 13 y/o daughter enough. That'll last two weeks when she hates him because she's a 13 y/o girl. That's what they do.
