Faaaaaaaaaaaaaarts does watching the Blues play "hockey" annoy the **** out of me. Doesn't help that the Sharks have taken the entire month off so far too.

I see Comcast Sportsnet was in mid-season form for their camera work focusing on her. They're all set to scan the bleachers at Wrigley for the pretty girls...

Hansen will probably be losing some pay after that elbow to the back of Hossa's head. Hope he's alright, pretty good shot he took.

They're still cleaner players than the goon squad in Rockford. :p ;)


Gotta agree with Rimbaud. Hansen was just trying to punch the puck out of the air. He just so happened to want to use Hossa's face to help.

Yeah the puck was stuck to the back of Hossa's head and Hansen thought his elbow would be the best way to get it down to his tape.

Or he saw the puck in the air, didn't see Hossa, and reached out to punch it down and made contact awkwardly with Hossa's head. If it was deliberate, it was the worst looking and most poorly placed elbow I've seen in a long time.

Unfortunately, it's soiled by the Nucks getting a point and Hoss in a dark room.

Looked deliberate on the replay. The league office will ultimately decide. I'd bet money that Hansen will miss some time

Even if was an accident, he should still get 1 or 2. He wasn't aware of his surroundings and clocked some guy in the head.

Sucks that it's anyone, but Hossa was in a dark room for a couple of weeks after the Torres hit.

Hope it's not bad.

I'lll admit that my Nuck-hate can blind me at times, but that looked sketchy to me even objectively. Hansen also knocked Bolland out of a game earlier in the year with a cheap slash to the ankle.

Canucks lose. Redwings lose. Thank God spring training games start this Saturday.


... then again, my baseball team's first basemen have ACL's and knee's as steady as Hossa's brain. Or Kessler's feet. :(
