It's my turn to re-pay my Dad (long time Leafs fan) for all the hockey events he brought me to while I was growing up. Definitely looking forward to it.

Detroit's only advantage is that 3 of their last 5 are at home, not that it helped tonight.
One of them is against Phoenix, whom they're three points ahead of, so that's a must-win with Phoenix having a game in hand. Trashville as well, being only 5 points ahead. Also need to win one of the road games, which I think they will do.

At night in December/January... it's possible. Keep the ice covered during the day. It's not like NHL arena's aren't already 65 degrees or warmer anyway.

Russo says that the Wild could not come to a lease agreement with the Rockets, and the Wild will be moving the Aeros to Des Moines. Loved going to Wells Fargo Arena for Wolves games vs the Iowa Stars. Should be great to have your affiliate just a car ride away. And road trips will be easier from the Cities.
