I was surprised to see Joe manhandle him like that. Lots of fights and scraps and illegal hits so far. Glad they finally called a penalty on one of them.

These officials are nuts. This game is going to get out of control. If you're already having guys dropping gloves left and right, if someone does a ****ty enough hit that it's a 5 minute major, you toss him. Clifford *will* get jumped before this game ends.

Edit: Playoff berth clinched! Woo!

(Not gonna lie....figured that would happen in March, not April 5th)

Dreger said the linesman isn't allowed to call that even if he saw it. I don't understand, aren't they allowed to call too many men if they see it?

Wasn't too many men as he wasn't on the ice. Had he tossed his stick the linesman could have called that too. Pretty stupid that the linesman couldn't call that, and really stupid of Clowe to even do that...and he's well aware of his stupidity too.

No one outside of Pittsburgh is very happy with the Penguin organization. It's a joke that the player who delivers a cheap shot dirty hit that could have ended a guy's season faces absolutely no discipline, but the coach who complains about it is fined $20K. NHL justice.

I normally don't root for the Flyers, but I hope they destroy Pittsburgh. And it would be nice if they could win a few hockey games as well.

This game is about as exciting as a game between two teams that should have been fighting for top 4 positioning in the conference but suck and finished 7th and 8th should be.
