Re: NFL Thread 4: The Road to Miami

Only Greenway had a chance at tackling him and he failed. Most of the team was fooled and over-pursued because the screen was so well designed.

So it wasn't a great play by Thomas and instead happened because it was well designed and missed tackles.:p

Re: NFL Thread 4: The Road to Miami

BS flag. I love how Aikman is arguing that the play is illegal contact because its past five yards. Hey Troy, it was third and 5 and the contact was in front of the yellow line. You do the mouth, idiot.

It wasn't even illegal contact. It was a (legit) hold.

Re: NFL Thread 4: The Road to Miami

So what they are saying is the flag was for late hitting Farve...on a reverse. Umm he had just had the ball and shed the blocker. That's a terrible call.

No mouth allowed!

Re: NFL Thread 4: The Road to Miami

How was that Favre penalty any different than the hit on Sanchise you all were beeching about? :p

About 3 seconds. When the guy hit Favre he had no idea he no longer had the ball. It was a reverse.

When the guy hit Sanchez, it was a run up the gut and he wanted to get a cheap shot in while the refs were looking up field.

Re: NFL Thread 4: The Road to Miami

Have you ever looked in the mirror? :D

I didn't complain about the officiating once in the Colts-Jets game. I complained about two calls in the Viking-Cowboy game. I might complain about the officiating once a weekend for UND on average. You complain about once every 10 minutes when watching a game.:p
