Re: NFL Thread 4: The Road to Miami

One of the supposed excuses Bryant McKinnie used for missing pro-bowl practice was "my mom didn't wake me up in time".

Umm how old are you?

No wonder he was dismissed.

Re: NFL Thread 4: The Road to Miami

David Stern would grow so bored, he would attempt to nail Kobe to piece of wood just to prove his divinity.

Or he can just tell his "officials" to make awful calls all the time. Just like now!

He probably wanted to be dismissed. There doesn't seem to be a huge list of players who like to play in that game.

Actually watched the Pro Bowl for the first time in years. I really enjoyed the game (though the fact that the defenses were pretty limited was a little obnoxious). The mic-ing of the players was pretty awesome (loved Jared Allen's comments about Peyton and the long haired guy from Green Bay discussing his hair with a bald player).

Most wanted to go to the Pro Bowl just for the free trip to Hawai'i. The game is usually not all that great anyways.

Clay Matthews. That was a hilarious reaction from him when the dude started caressing his hair. LOL.

Re: NFL Thread 4: The Road to Miami

That was pretty funny. Jackson was pretty shocked about how hard he ended up hitting Matthews - it was nice of him to help Matthews up.

Peter King was telling Dan Patrick about one play last night (the first AFC TD) where Joe Thomas blocked a guy and then helped him up - while the play was still going on! Nothing says integrity and competition like the pro bowl. :p

Re: NFL Thread 4: The Road to Miami

I'm content with either team winning.

I'll tell you who's the real winner here, the city of Miami. Every time I come here it gets nicer. I think it's something in the water.
