that guy was unreal. sucks to see the pats stink it up but seahawks d was everything and more.Walker is the first RB to win SB MVP since Terrell Davis 28 years ago.
I was. But I was expecting a little more offense from them and then a crushing turnover or an ill-timed penalty or something. Seattle was the better team. No shame in that. It was an interesting and unexpected season, one where I wasn’t expecting more than seven or eight wins. So, making it to the Super Bowl after only winning four games last season? I’ll take that. My disgust at Kraft’s blatant association with Trump notwithstanding, this was a likable team. I will continue to not watch to endure their success!I though you were ambivalent.
As a Lions fan, there's a good amount of bitterness that you got there the 12th time after going down hill before we've gotten there the first time.... rrrrrI was. I get that. I really do. That said, seeing so many things online about how this team didn't "deserve" it, I mean, come on. Softest schedule? Sure. But they won. The year before was also a soft schedule and they only won four games. This year, they won consistently, and their three playoff games were against some of the toughest defenses in the league. So, yeah, I think they did deserve to be there. Deserve to win? No. Seattle didn't "deserve" to win - at least not pronouncing they did before the game. After the game? Absolutely. Without question. They proved from the get go they were the better team,As a Lions fan, there's a good amount of bitterness that you got there the 12th time after going down hill before we've gotten there the first time.... rrrrr
Oh, it's not about deserve or anything like that. We had our chance with a soft schedule, and were ahead of the 49ers to almost make it. And I think we would have played better than SF against KC that year.I get that. I really do. That said, seeing so many things online about how this team didn't "deserve" it, I mean, come on. And you cannot tell me if the situation was reversed and the Lions had been to as many Super Bowls as the Patriots that your fanbase wouldn't be just as obnoxious. That's what annoys me. I was totally and completely rooting for the Lions last year. I specifically did not watch them so my jinx would not work on them either.
Good. Not sure where to put this nugget of info, as people have been very supportive of Puerto Rico on this board in other threads- but the halftime show is where you may have seen this:
Did you notice the lighter color blue in the Puerto Rican flag? The light color was all over the place- the band's shirts, Lady Gaga's dress....
But that light blue was the color of the flag before the US made them change it to match the blue in the US flag in 1948. Which was 50 years after the US colonized them and had been abusing them since. So showing that color of flag over the dark blue one was political.
I had some more nuggets, but in honor of letting people learn for themselves about what it meant- I'm going to let you find out. That's really cool. I didn't get a chance last night but tonight I'm hoping to spend some time reading about all the little details like that.
Empathy is a great thing. No I get it, and appreciate it. Learning is fun. I hope I never stop.
To a Republican it makes you a domestic terrorist.Empathy is a great thing.
I loved that!! There was also a similar one about the streaker who was tackled by Kyle Williams. Except was he a streaker? He was wearing pants.I like the meme saying Bad Bunny had more rushing yards during the halftime show than the Patriots did all game.
