NFL 25-26: Blame The Refs for this Thread Title

There is nothing wrong with the Patriots that the extermination of their fanbase would not solve.

The team was never the problem.

OMG Swansong HIIIII!!! Long time no post. Hope all is well.

And Kep, I don't have a problem. If they win, I'm buying the hat and t-shirt and will enjoy it. I won't be gloating, but man, this thing with Kraft makes it so hard to gloat even if I wanted to. It's so damn disappointing. Anyway, I just spent a while the other day watching whiny baby fans of other team complaining about how it wasn't fair that the Pats were back in it. About how they had the softest schedule in the league. Yeah, well, they won games. Why is that so hard? If your team had two or three sucky seasons in a row and got blessed with a soft schedule, if your team actually won those games you too could be rooting for your team in the Super Bowl. They did not face cupcakes in the playoffs. If the Patriots' opponents in those games couldn't figure out a way to end the Patriots' season, then blame them. Sheesh!
Hello! Been... a busy year and winter and a job change and travel and I'm pooped.

Anyway I agree about Kraft. It's incredibly disappointing even if completely expected.

Did you see him on the Grammys last night? I could almost hear the MAGAt heads asploding from my couch. I was texting with a friend when he won AOTY and said to he "Please do the speech in all Spanish!" not thinking he would. But he did! It was awesome.
I had no idea. Good. We need him to do a country song. We could repopulate the South with humans.

I admit I'd never heard of Bad Bunny before the announcement and my first introduction of him was screeching by some terrible people, so I immediately liked him. I took a listen (holy hell does he have a lot of Spotify streams) and... yeah this isn't for me.

But he sure does make certain shitty people very angry and I'm for it.
Most of his music isn't for me, either, but he had a "residency" in Puerto Rico where he did events with many iconic Puerto Rican artists. This recent music is really good, if you like salsa and whatnot. I've been aware of him for quite a while, and noted an climb in 2019 when Hamilton played in San Juan- and he was doing a lot of stuff with Lin Manuel MIranda and Jimmy Falon.

He has been political for a long time, and was a big figure in getting one of the PR governors ousted.

The funny thing is that he's not quite as political as Lin Manuel's father, Luiz. Who is a really nice person.

If only it were that easy…unless, of course, you’re suggesting a gay black man is equally incapable of accomplishing similar heights?

TIL that the Football HOF only allows 3 people in regardless of if they were players, coaches, or owners. For some reason, I didn't pick that up a few days ago.

Seems that the whole system is going to change, soon, based on demand of people.

Specifically about Kraft- did you know that Jerry Jones is in the HOF? And Kraft has been to the SB 11 times (including this year) as owner since Jones has taken the cowpokes to the SB.

I don't think you have that totally correct.

I believe the three only is from the seniors committee only, which the coaches/owners fall under (which is the real reason why Bellichick didn't get in because many voters admitted they wanted to vote for certain players who would lose their opportunity if they didn't get in this time). The regular voting can allow more in ... up to six I believe.

So how will that Turning Point thing work? Where will it be? And is it going to be broadcast somewhere? Not that I’m going to watch. I just haven’t seen anything about how to watch.

Well Fox can't as it will undoubtedly violate their NFL contract.

It’ll probably be on Truth Social, behind the Gold Card Platinum Extravaganza Eventerator Pay Wall Express.

I like the idea of a limit. One player for every year of the NFL's existence. One new entrant per year. Eligibility begins 30 years after date of last game. Players only. No coaches. And certainly no fucking owners.

Super Bowl week.

And you have a week to prepare. Undoubtedly this is going to be played at halftime- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1Femq4NPxs And you need to learn to salsa. This is a pretty good song to Salsa to. The video even has some salsa lessons in it.

Compared to other salsas- this has a really good beat, and a great chorus similar to a Marc Anthony tune. Singing is ok- I'd much rather listen to Marc or El Gran Combo, but Bad Bunny did win lots of Grammy's last night with this, and it's what we get to hear live Sunday.

Salsa is a music that is almost impossible to sit still to- so move. And the song title is Baile Inovlidable which translates to Unforgettable Dance. So dance.
Little bit of a follow up- Another Bad Bunny tune is Nueva York- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KU5V5WZVcVE

It's based on a CLASSIC salsa song by El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivW2qoNwnsQ This is such a classic that many other totally Salsa groups play it, and Gran Combo still does.
