NFL 25-26: Blame The Refs for this Thread Title

While the Lions ended up feasting, the Vikings are certainly cooked. With JJ McCarthy suddenly in concussion protocol, UDFA Max Brosmer out of the U of M(innesota) may well get his first NFL start Sunday. As a Vikings fan who knew it was over after 1998 (too young for the failed SBs), this is a great storyline for our shitty team.

Your biggest problem is the same as the Lions- it's just not as bad for the Lions enough times. The offensive line.

And you still have a better defensive line (most of the time).

But your line needs to help whoever the QB is to slow the game down- he is getting pressure so fast, it's hard to even react (see Goff).

Dear NFL- the Packers don't need help. So stop helping them with bad officiating.

The lineman moved WAY before TO was called. What a joke.
Refs, same thing- if the defender pushed the receiver like that, it would have been pass interference, but somehow when the receiver pushes the defender for more space, it's a TD.

It's not helping that Detroit is still having problems blocking.

Glad I’m not the only one who thought that. Ray Charles even saw that one. Terrible.

They paid it back later to no avail. Lions D really let them down today. Badly. I only saw one punt for Green Bay.

The line is supposed to be good, but they were very average today. Not sure if they got a real sack, even. They gave Love so much time to eat the depleted backs badly- but even players like Branch blew chances to win the game. The same really applies to offense, too- the times they went for it was rather embarrassing for the offensive line.

Season is over, again, and we still have not been to a SB... To hell with the teams whining they "haven't been to the SB since X". Everyone old franchise has been there except the Lions, and the new incarnation of the Browns has always sucked.

The team was built on the lines, and this current version is mediocre on the line. The defense doesn't get pressure and the offense can't protect Goff. Basically needs a full rebuild.

The pathetic thing is the Packers are bad. The entire NFC North is garbage and Philly and LA are going to steamroll whoever makes it out of here.

Apparently that is the called rule- CD Lam just did the same thing in their game, and not only did he not get called, the D guy got called for PI when all of the hands and force clearly came from the receiver. Kinda ruins football.
