NFL '24-25- lots of potential, any reality?

Washington Commanders suspend their VP of content for some things he said to an undercover reporter. Some of the things he said are: a huge number of players (more than half) are homophobic, many players are not that bright (and those that were smart aren't anymore due to constant head trauma), that players who have repeated head trauma are more susceptible to believing conspiracy theories, that Jerry Jones is racist and homophobic, and that the league's social justice initiatives are largely performative and they don't actually give a crap about any of it or increasing diversity etc.

Seems like a lot of stuff people already knew, and either didn't want to admit or just flat ignored. I think they are just mad he is saying the quiet part out loud.

The conspiracy theory one is the funniest because even the Kelce’s have talked about that on their podcast.

Yeah, he didn’t say anything that isn’t true.

He told the undercover reporter that, "over 50% of our roster is white religious, and God says, 'F--- the gays.' Their interpretation. I don't buy any of that. Another big chunk is low-income African Americans that comes from a community that is inherently very homophobic."

On the video, Enteen also said some players are "dumb as hell" and said some who were smart don't stay that way after getting hit in the head too many times. He also said those who "get their heads knocked around a few times" are more susceptible to conspiracy theories.

Enteen also said, "I don't think the commissioner of the NFL hates gay people, hates black people. Jerry Jones, who really runs the NFL, I think he hates gay people, black people."

Two problems in the aftermath:

1. The Commanders made a statement saying “The language used in the video runs counter to our values at the Commanders organization”. So, uh, what values are you referring to?

2. The guy was secretly recorded by a woman he met on Hinge and was recorded while they were on dates. The reporter “works” for O’Keefe Media Group, aka “I got fired from Project Veritas” Media Group. Enjoy the lawsuit folks!

Twitter may or may not be up in arms about Taylor Swift but there is now a call to boycott the NFL trend because they dared to have the Black National Anthem at the game last night. I say DO IT!! Boycott it. Come on...follow through with it.
