NFL 2023-24. Now without Dan Snyder!

He was co-DC at OH10 St and they were one of the best in the country. As HC at BC he wasn't all that and a bag of chips.

Good article,

It’s funny how things can be framed. I was reading a pro-Hafley article that made his three bowl appearances in four years out to be a positive. It didn’t really go into his season records. I didn’t realize BC has been nearly perpetually 7-6 for a decade now. They are the Alabama of mediocrity.

I do like the OSU numbers. Hopefully it’s as simple as he just likes coaching football and not running a program.

Commanders saw a 2-seed give up 48 points to a 7-seed in the playoffs and said "Get me the 2-seed's defensive coordinator!".

Even better for people who enjoy seeing disfunction the the NFC E- it's been pointed out how hard it will be for Dallas to replace him given that McCarthy is on a one year contract- so whatever coordinators they get to backfill- they can't give them a decent contract. And for similar reasons, players.

So in 12 months, it's quite likely that it will be an NFC N vs W for the championship, again.

i did this incredibly hard to believe. But if that's true, that's crazy

It is 100% true. Quarterbacks out of Alabama have thrown for touchdowns, but they are not credited with actually scoring any points. Therein lies the distinction. Miami leads the way with players from their scoring 84 total points. 143 colleges have had players score at least 1 point in the super bowl.

I'm with you, at first blush it seems crazy. But then when you think about it, all of the Super Bowls combined are like what, three and a half weeks of a typical NFL season? It's a pretty small data sample, and if you're searching for oddities, I'm sure there are many.

Yeah agreed.

The fact that we still have scoragamis is amazing to me.
