NFL 2023-24. Now without Dan Snyder!

On one hand, that means you are rooting for SF, Baltimore, and KC to win. Think about that for a while... yikes.

On the other hand, I don't see either SF or Detroit beating either KC or Baltimore... So you have my odds on the side of your thinking.

I don't hate any of the other 3, but my soft side has started to take over my petty side soo.....go Detroit? ;^P

Was it punching above their weight or a young team gelling? A first year starting QB with an ensemble cast of receivers and tight ends in their rookie and sophomore years, who all swapped being injured throughout the year. Then throw in a running game that missed its featured back on and off until week 14.

Now the defense playing better, not sure what caused them to suddenly start playing better the last four weeks besides MLF telling Barry he was gone if things didn’t change. They finally stopped playing 15 yards off the line and what do you know, it’s harder to pass against when you don’t let them run their whole route first.

It was a young team gelling. If they don't have any contract growth issues in the offseason and can shore up their defense they will be very good next year. I don't see the Vikings Dumpster Fire competing with anybody in their division next year. Maybe Chicago, but Chicago is on the rise as well.

I want a better life for everyone outside of Wisconsin, North Dakota, and Iowa.

Low bar.

Playing Minnesota, Chicago and Carolina in those last four games probably helped explain it too.

I think Jordan Love probably has a pretty bright future, but I'd hesitate to throw all my money on the Packers next year. GB had a pretty soft schedule this year, something that will change next year.

I'm with you. Let's all pump the brakes.

The Carolina game probably had the loudest calls for him to be fired. Coming off the NYG game where they let DeVito go off and played 20 yard prevent when they only needed a field goal and the TB game giving up 34. Then they go to Carolina in a must win game against the worst offense in the league and give up 30, and had they not had time expire on a long pass could have gone to OT with a field goal.

But you’re right, the schedule does get tougher next year.

Interview with the Lions fan who had the gigantic sandwich. Every quote in this reads like it came from The Onion.

While there is a $250, 3-foot-long sub sandwich on the Lions menu for fans in the suites, that’s not what Robinson is ordering.

Instead, Robinson heads over to Grobbel’s Gourmet Deli on the second level concourse and buys himself six turkey club sandwiches. Robinson then stacks the sandwiches himself, using the wooden skewers provided with the sandwiches.

“I’ve been doing it for a long time,” Robinson told MLive. “I made that sandwich (on Sunday) a little bit bigger just because it’s the playoffs.”

I mean, YOLO bro.

To play this weekend?

Huh. I just assumed there was a playoff roster limitation like MLB.

I think because he was waived and thus not on any team he could do it; certainly no trades at this point; but yeah, I still assumed some basic overall roster freeze.

Would have only 2 tight ends on the roster, otherwise. Mitchell had hand surgery and Wright broke his forearm Sunday.

Shows how much I really pay attention to the team- I didn't realize the news about Mitchell was the same position. Hope he can block- that's mostly what Wright did.
