I'm slightly less nervous seeing LA than Green Bay. Not by much- they are super hot, but GB embarrassed the Lions at home for Tgiving.

So I see today that one of the playoff games next week is only streaming on peacock.

hm.

Hope it’s not the lions, but I don’t really like this idea.

What’s really odd is how many partial streaming things one gets as an Xfinity customer- but not the one the owners run.

I'm not sure if that'll be the throwaway game or the best game of the weekend. For Big Ten football Peacock was the throwaway game but for Big Ten basketball they're putting some of the biggest rivalry games on there. If I had to guess it'll be a "throwaway" game and be one of the 4/5, so either Philly-Tampa or Cleveland-Houston.

Well, I was wrong. It'll be the Fighting Swifties on Peacock.

Saturday 4:30 NBC - Browns at Texans
Saturday 8:00 Peacock - PIT/BUF/MIA at KC
Sunday 1pm CBS - PIT/BUF/MIA at BUF/MIA
Sunday 4:30 Fox - Packers at Cowboys
Sunday 8:00 NBC - Rams at Lions
Monday 8:00 ESPN - Eagles at Bucs

Well, I was wrong. It'll either be the Fighting Swifties or whatever comes out of this Pitt/Buffalo/Miami trio.

Saturday 4:30 NBC - Browns at Texans
Saturday 8:00 Peacock - 6 seed at KC OR 7 seed at Buffalo/Miami
Sunday 1pm CBS - 6 seed at KC OR 7 seed at Buffalo/Miami
Sunday 4:30 Fox - Packers at Cowboys

Monday 8:00 ESPN - Eagles at Bucs

Looks like it's whoever playing KC. So the defending champs have to pay even more to see their game.

Given Detroit's play during prime time, perhaps that will help a pretty tough and emotional game.

Midseason firings:
Josh McDaniels out in Vegas
Frank Reich out in Carolina
Brandon Staley out for the Los Angeles Chargers

Black Monday:
Arthur Smith out in Atlanta
Ron Rivera out in Washington

And it sounds like Belichick won’t be coming back to New England, though nothing official yet.

Given the improvement of the Raiders, it sure seems certain they will not keep the interim coach, again. Maybe they give Matt Patricia another chance, given his debacle in Phily.

Won't the local markets get their team on Free TV as opposed to Peacock/E$PN?

It’s Peacock exclusive for anyone outside the local market. Anyone within 75 miles of the stadium can watch it locally.

Whew.

But I thought it was so amusing that they were saying this was going to be so historic that a game will only be streamed instead on TV. As if it's a good thing. Before you know it, MNF will only be on Hulu.

I like football. Not enough to pay even more to watch it.

Titans fire Mike Vrabel.

Ladies and gentlemen, your next coach for the New England Patriots..........
