Yeah, if it were 14-7, this would have a different feel. 21-7 feels almost insurmountable; however, crazy things can happen and there is still plenty of time. I would be putting the ball in McCaffrey's and Samuel's hands as much as humanly possible.

Pretty much. Once the SF D gave them the two TD lead, it was almost impossible to keep up.
If they somehow manage to come back, Shanahan should be named coach of the year automatically.

And the D didn't learn- one roughing the kicker and then hitting Hurts well out of bounds.
All of the leaders of the team needed to step up when Purdy went down. The D did the opposite.

I saw the blocker behind him, but I also didn't see a direct shove as opposed to trying to get to the kicker. They didn't need to block the punt, anyway- so just set up to block.
I really wanted SF to make this a fun game, but they are not.

That game should have gone to OT. Except for a really dumb penalty by a Bengal. Wow. Epicly stupid.

There were bad calls, sure. Many for the Chiefs. But in the end, it just took time off the call.
That last penalty was real. And sucked that he did it.

Well, the entire SF D should also feel that way. They gave Phily so many yards when they should have been stopped. Took any real opportunity to steal the game away.
But I'm sure he will feel a whole lot worse, since it was one play that led to the one score to win the game.
