Jags are in this. Is that... weird?

Today's games will be fun, because I like the Bills* and Bengals and will root for whichever wins all the way through to the Super Bowl, and I dislike the 49ers and Cowboys equally but will root for whichever wins to beat the Eagles.

No consequences Sunday!

* Ideally Buffalo gets revenge over Dallas.

CBS: The Triumph of the Willful Mawkish Shamelessness.

If Damar Hamlin ever becomes an active shooter and guns down TV and NFL execs, I am giving him a pass.

Maybe a stipend.

Grinding out 4th and 1 in the snow is great fubaw.

If we could only roll back and ban the forward pass, Yale and Harvard would rule again.

Maher misses again. Okay so this one was blocked, but it looks like it would have missed regardless. I think that’s 6 out of his last 7. Ouch.

So the talking heads are driving me crazy over the cowpoke's loss- as they keep framing it as this massive disaster the world has never seen. One of the points is how long it's been since they've been in the championship- which they last won in 1995. They claimed it's the longest in the NFL.

As if the Commanders (1991), Lions (1991), and the Dolphins (1992) don't count. I'm not including the Browns, since their 1989 last time was taken by the Ravens, and the current Browns can only trace back to 1998.

Let alone the number of championships the D men have- which is considerably more than all of the above- especially the Lions since they've never been to the SB and they are one of the oldest franchises. The Browns/Ravens franchise has gone twice after they moved. The current Browns have another 20 seasons to match the Lions.

Sure, the Cowboys have had a long stretch of bad play, but it's not the worst by any real measure. The only way it's worse is when the ego of the owner is factored in.

It's also that the Cowboys are the most hated franchise in America after the Yankees.
