The Chicago Bears traded for a new kicker, Eddy Pineiro from the Oakland Raiders. Probably got him for a bag of practice footballs.

Jason Pierre-Paul fractures neck in car accident.

That sucks. Sounds like he'll recover enough to be healthy and all, but man, I wouldn't risk my future health and try and return to football.....

The biggest joke of an organization in the history of sports.

And I'm a Jets fan.

I'm one of those oddball New Yorker fans -- a Yankees and Jets fan. I laugh my *ss off at Mets fans for their joke of an organization and I get my *ss laughed off by Giants fans for my joke of an organization. I guess it all evens out... :eek:

EDIT: But I am going to the Giants-Jets game in November. Already got the tickets from a co-worker's friend. Great seats. My co-worker is going with me, and he's a Giants fan.
