The Panthers fired Rivera.

Meanwhile in Dallas, it'll be 2034, and Jason Garrett will still be around with another 8-8 season.

And in Detroit, the Fords will still be in charge while they go through coaches like toilet paper.

On that note, if the contact Badger D-backs were using against the Gopher receivers on Saturday happened in an NFL game, there would have been PI calls all over the place. And I'm pulling for the Badgers in that game.

It was criminal. I don't like to complain about them if I can help it but it was fairly noticeable. Might not have made a difference in the end but they should still call it right.

Had PI been called on some of those longer passes, I think the outcome might have been in play. Maybe that kind of contact is typically not called in college ball, but if so, those D-backs are in for a whole new game if they reach the next level.

Can we just put the winner of the NFC East in a bowl game with Alabama and call it a day?

you watch, whoever wins will win their wildcard game...it would be quite funny if it was Seattle losing to the NFC East Champ with a losing record...

That week 17 49ers@Seahawks game will have a lot on the line. One gets bye, the other plays away.

How would you like to be the NFC #3 seed? Third best overall record in conference. Win division. Get to host a wildcard game, but it's against a team like Minnesota, GB, SF or Seattle. Meanwhile, the #5 team gets to play Dallas in Dallas.

I'm more than happy to play Minnesota. Minnesota sucks as a road team.

That's not funny.

(If it was SF it would be hilarious.)

In all seriousness I have feeling the NFC East winner is going to their lose home game by 24.

Certainly the 4-5 game is going to have an away team with a much better record. But what is the history of those games; I feel like the worse home teams ends up winning; crap is crap, yes, but home field is still for some reason home field.
