I am well aware of that. However, he made the bet, so the best bet after that is to hedge it, and still win, no matter what.

I have 3 doors you can choose from.... ;)

He either wins the max, or he hedges, and wins half the max, while wagering the minimum. I'd take the latter. Better to win a small bet then win either all or nothing.

Usually the bookies will make a buyout offer if one of those starts getting close to hitting. Happened when VGK were at like 200-1 to win the Cup and made it to the Finals.

@AdamShefter Breaking: Jennifer Lopez and Shakira will be the halftime performers for Super Bowl LIV in Miami. Other performers also expected to be added. But a Miami flavor for Miami’s next Super Bowl.

Lions score a passing TD, but it is taken away after review. They then fumble on the next play and KC recovers. KC drives but then also fumbles, this one recovered by the Lions. Detroit drives back down and now fumbles on the 1 yard line, KC recovers it and returns it for a touchdown because all of the Lions players think the play was dead.

Fun to watch.
