I am always astounded that people do things like this in Las Vegas, and then just assume that you're going to be able to make up a BS story about what happened and you won't get exposed on the story.

This is a town where literally every move you make is under constant surveillance. And it's not some crappy truck stop closed circuit tv camera recording on VHS tape. This is a place where a person can win a jackpot in a casino, have the slot machine malfunction so that neither the player nor the casino knows immediately that the jackpot has been won, but when it's discovered later they can literally track you through the city and traffic to a point where they figure out your identity and that you live in Arizona, so they can pay you (this just happened).

I'm sure they did it all through college at SEC Pac 10 Big Ten Toddler State and the school paid off and/or threatened the cops. Then they go out into the world and Big Cop isn't cowed by whatever dumbfuck athletic organization they work for.

Which is ironic, since it's just what happens to cops when they murder too far from the protective bubble of the Thin Blue Line.
