NFL 2018.1 The off season

Re: NFL 2018.1 The off season

So, um, back to circa 1970. ;)

Pretty much. The Colts, Cardinals and Oilers get dropped because they were as-sholes to their fans. The Seahawks get added because I root for them. If I were being consistent I would kill off Seattle and put the Colts back in BAL. Actually, bring back Diner but kill off NE instead. F-ck them.

BUF
MIA
NYJ
BAL

PIT
CIN
CLE
KC

SD
OAK
DEN
SEA

---

PHI
DAL
WAS
NYG

MIN
DET
GB
CHI

ATL
LA
NO
SF

If you want to reduce further ATL and NO are on the table for excessive Southerness.

It's a start. Contracting the fake franchises is the better option.

Baltimore
Jacksonville
Tennessee
Indianapolis
Houston
Carolina
Tampa Bay
Arizona

See ya. 24-team NFL with 8 playoff teams here we come.

Very disappointed in you kep. Patsies should be tops on your list :)

So basically you guys are old and don’t like change?

Basically. But those are independent statements. For the record, I resented franchise relocations and expansion when I was in my 20s.

It's all been sh-t since the Dodgers abandoned Brooklyn, which was before I was conceived.

It was an ill conceived move and I was 2 (or thereabouts).

So you have an East Coast centric view on sports? Got it.

You must hate MLS and it’s West Coast biased franchise locations.

You forget I've rooted for the Mariners and Seahawks ever since expansion and lived in the Rose City for almost 7 years.

But you’re also wishing to hack down the number of professional sports teams to have largely East Coast based leagues.

If it were up to me it would be Ur v Sumer. I don't give a **** about East v West.

Second tier cities like Seattle (or Boston) never realize that we never "hate" them.

We just don't think of them. :p

Athens
Rome
Beijing
Tokyo
Paris
London
Istanbul
New York

Everybody else is Des Moines. :p

you can't be first tier if your money is for $h!t. so take Athens off your list (unless you meant Athens, GA for your love of Michael stipe and REM :p)

Re: NFL 2018.1 The off season

Rome too. Istanbul would be the last on that list. Probably will fall off in under a decade if it already hasn’t. Istanbul was important 100 years ago. There hasn’t been anything important that took place in Istanbul in a generation.

Add Berlin. Possibly somewhere in California. Maybe The problem with California is there’s so much money and power spread out over so much of the state. LA, Frisco, and even Silicon Valley.

I would probably add Dubai as well.
