Probably not here. But in general, quite a few do watch. All I hear is crickets from that crowd.
What crowd?

The focus has mostly been on the NFL because Trump started poutraging and calling out those players specifically.

General social media. Many have been very vocally against forcing the players to stand for the anthem. Well, why aren't they yelling about the NBA, also?

FTR, I think you *should* stand for the anthem, but I am against *forcing* you to. I will support your right to *not* stand for the anthem.

I have no idea, actually. That's not the point, though.

They have the rule. The rule is the issue right now (although it really shouldn't be, etc etc it's about the real reason for the kneeling, I know; the general public isn't thinking that way right now, though).

What is the point? Nobody is paying attention to the NBA because the season isn't in session and nobody is kneeling. And the vast majority of people probably haven't even thought about the NBA's rule because they don't know it exists.

Silver has stated that he expects players to stand.

The NBA players don't care about protesting using the anthem because they can and have protested directly in press conferences and in warmups

Football press conferences and interviews are as bad (read : boring) as hockey, with the rare exception.

Thor Bjornsson (The Mountain on GoT) sounding the gjallarhorn on Sunday. Highly doubt it will help the Queens, but fun nonetheless.

Rams hate their own jerseys.

Re: NFL 2017: With Dollar Signs in Goodell's Eyes

NFL rules don't allow a team to change jerseys for five years. I believe the Rams are eligible next year but are waiting for their new stadium. In their own stubbornness, they wanted to separate themselves from St. Louis, so they changed the horns to white. However, due to the jersey rule, they have to keep gold letters and shoulder stripe.

They've tried remedying this by going white at home, or wearing the old LA Rams jerseys, but that doesn't work when they play on the road against a team in white. Not sure if the NFL doesn't allow dark throwbacks on the road or what, but they appear stuck with the awful combination. So now it's a running joke.

Great reply. Thanks!

I believe the home team gets to decide whether to wear their whites/colors, and then the opponent has to wear the opposite. Hence the warm weather teams wearing white at home early in the season when it's warmer out, because it doesn't overheat them as much.
