NFL 2016-17: Your Fantasy Team Will Suck This Year.

We've already seen what Bradford could do against a respectable GB defense - and that's just after a mere two weeks on the team.

I don't want to take too much away from Bradford, as he did play very well with little time to gel with his offense, but the highlighted part made me chuckle.

The front 7 has done well, but the secondary has been pretty bad all season thus far.

AP was great, but running backs don't carry teams anymore. He certainly could take pressure off a QB, but the season was never going to depend on him.

Yep, exactly. As good as AD is (or, was), the season never hinged on him. I'm still much more worried about the o-line. Losing Turnstile Kalil hurts. And seeing Boone go out was a bad sign too. I did think that Sirles played pretty well, good enough to at least bump Fusco.

If anything, MN MAY have relied TOO much on AP, so this could be a blessing in disguise.

That being said, I'd be surprised if AP plays another down for MN, after him being placed on IR. I definitely don't see him back next season.

He won't be back next year. I'm not ready to rule him out for late this season though. The guy heals faster than any human being ever, as he proved the last time he ****ed up his knee. And he's going to be extremely motivated to get back to show people he deserves a contract next year, after MN cuts him.

It's a good point, but if MN keeps doing what they are doing....RBBC is my thoughts, if AP comes back this year.

How does the "Redskins last home game before the election" thing work this year. The last "home" game is actually in London on October 30th versus the Bengals. Their last real home game is October 16th versus the Eagles.

Didn't you answer your own question?

Clown...I'm going to be ****ed if I let you off the hook this week by underestimating the Vikes D, and benching them against Carolina. But, I think I'm OK, I just need 20 points from Brees and Cooks.

Don't worry, my team has fallen flat all season long. IR and nagging injuries have helped with that trend. You should win comfortably come Monday night.

Jets rule, 5 or 6 turnovers, 2 in the endzone, sweet

Make that 8 turnovers :)

My 2 QBs threw 10 interceptions this week, with 0 TDs.

Fitzpatrick (6) had a fantasy score of -2.28. Now on the one hand I didn't start him. OTOH I started Palmer (4), who racked up a stellar 3.48.

Honest question, who was aware of the illegal touch rule from the end of the Colts/Chargers game?

I didn't know it extended the game by a period, but I knew it was technically a violation. That's why you'll occasionally see returners pick up the ball once it's been touched, even if it's one on seven at that point, since the worst case scenario is they'll get it back at that spot.

Yeah I guess it's a moot point for the most part unless time has run out, as it did in this case.

How if you go out of bounds you cannot be the first person to touch the ball on a pass? Happens all the time. Plus, a quarter cannot end on an active penalty; it's extended by one un-timed down. If the penalty is declined, it can end...

The penalty extending a quarter only applies to defensive penalties. Offensive penalties, if it happens at the end of 1Q will just be applied to the field position when the second quarter begins.

Now the real question, which doesn't matter since it was a four point deficit, is whether the chargers knew about the fair catch free kick rule...
