Danielle Hunter is a future monster, a guy that will be leading the league in sacks in a year or 2. The defensive tackles are very solid, specifically Linval. I even like the secondary. At some point, need to replace Sendejo (draft). But the cornerbacks (minus Newman) are young and only going to get better. Rhodes, Waynes, and Alexander are a very nice young trio.

edit: We also have, IMO, an extremely capable coach. Zimmer is quickly proving that he's already one of the very best in the league.

Yeah, that Zimmer was never given an opportunity isn't entirely surprising. He kind of comes off as a DGAF kind of guy. Take it or leave it. That's pretty offputting to a guy looking to hire him. But then again, Bud Grant was the ultimate DGAF coach of this franchise. He had a win or **** off attitude. I think Zimmer is the second coming of Grant. I really do. He's rebuilt the defense to where it should be and Spielman has set up him really nicely. I will say the offense has come together slowly and I have concerns. But Diggs and Rudolph are proving to be amazing young assets.

I expect that sicne we have a Tier 1 defense now, we'll be able to start working more on the offense. I don't have a solution there. I'm not entirely sure if Norv is a great judge of talent. I wouldn't be shocked if Zimmer controls **** near everything when it comes to scouting defensive players. But offense may need to have some fresh blood in the scouting offense. I'd love to see someone with some serious talent be brought in to study a bit under Norv and let the guy retire. I know we have his kid waiting in the wings, but I'm not 100% convinced either way on him. I just don't know.

Fair enough. But he isn't exactly old.

Either way. We have a couple of younger players but need to address our OL first.

OL is the biggest need, by far. The thing that killed it is Kalil is supposed to be a 10 year anchor and he has come up woefully short. Now we need another big time tackle and they're almost as tough to find as big time QB.

Other than O-line, we should be fine on offense. The receivers have cone together fairly nicely, with Diggs being the huge bright spot, Thielen seems like he'll be serviceable slot possession guy. Treadwell is on the Diggs plan, and should start seeing time around week 5.

We have some possible RB issues, but that doesn't worrt me, you can find a servicable RB in later rounds that can play, and McKinnon is a good change of pace guy.

His assessment of risk is the most bizarre thing I've ever seen. Up 4 against Jacksonville 4th and goal with like 12 minutes left? "IDK guys... better kick a field goal just to be safe". Down 3 on the road against a good D with the ball back at the 14, NOW he decides to go for it. Now technically the probability of converting the latter is better but the field positioning of the first scenario is way better even if you don't convert. I'm not staunchly against going for it like they did last night especially if they give Rodgers the ****ing ball instead of Starks (why...........?) but the first situation is such a no brainer and yet he sees it as more risky somehow. Not to mention the Seattle game or the opportunity to go for 2 against Arizona.

I think we reconfirmed early on how horrible Jay "passing yards but no wins" Cutler is.

Not trolling, just letting everyone see the fun. If Pats fans can't sit back and laugh at the situation, then it's time to sit back, take the Quaaludes in their pockets, and have some fun another way. :D

I'm already learning. Next week I'm waiting until the 9th Round to draft Tebow...
