Re: NFL 2015: Let's Talk About Balls

A few years ago Brady got a new Corvette for Super Bowl MVP. This year he gets a midsize truck.

Oh man, glad I don't know what it's like to lose such an important game when you have it in the bag.

[/ignoring the last two weeks of my life]

Re: NFL 2015: Let's Talk About Balls

Collinsworth was dead on to be so bewildered by that play call. Who calls something that complex (and evidently, a known trick in your playbook, if a rookie knew the tendency) when you're on the 1 yard line?

Re: NFL 2015: Let's Talk About Balls

Wonder if Lynch will have something to say about the play call.

Re: NFL 2015: Let's Talk About Balls

Especially with the guy you've got at running back. That's like the old Pittsburgh teams not giving the ball to Jerome Bettis.

Re: NFL 2015: Let's Talk About Balls

Well, the euphoria of having Seattle lose has already worn off and it's set in that the Patriots have won another one.

Seattle Sports Choke thru and thru. The pitchforks are out in Seattle right now.

I'm starting to be convinced that it's the 70's all over again. This time the Patriots are playing the part of the old Steelers, and the Seahawks are the new Raiders.

Re: NFL 2015: Let's Talk About Balls

That moment when Sherman almost started to cry was priceless. I'm going to frame that and put it up on my wall.

Re: NFL 2015: Let's Talk About Balls

One thing i was screaming about was belichick letting the clock run down...couldn't believe he didn't use a timeout

I was too.

Couldn't believe they were letting the clock run out and were gonna lose when Lynch...

It's quite possible that a timeout would have caused Seattle to change their mind on the call.

Hmmmm....
