Re: NFL 2015: Let's Talk About Balls

So they changed the shades of orange and brown, and added the word "Browns" to the pants. I'm not seeing the big deal with the change. It's not like they made a Broncos-sized change to their unis, or what the Vikings did a few years ago either.

Re: NFL 2015: Let's Talk About Balls

Meh, I just figure that they're aiming for a younger generation of audience and that generation is younger than I am. It's not like I'm going to see them week in and week out.

Adrian Peterson has been reinstated.

Remember all the third string QBs that got starts last year?

Don't tell me Tebow wouldn't be an upgrade over half of them.

He's backkkkkkkkkk.

Tebow reaches agreement with the Eagles. Joins Mark Sanchez again.

Lololololol.

ESPN trucks are enroute to Philadelphia as we speak. Reports that the signing will be announced by white smoke in Independence Square. Crowds are now gathering to witness the historic event.

Re: NFL 2015: Let's Talk About Balls

If only Tebow had signed on Easter...

Re: NFL 2015: Let's Talk About Balls

I point and laugh at Tebow as much as the next guy, but you know what? Good for him. Stand-up guy, unlike some other NFLers in the news of late.

Honestly, its not Tebow so much, its just the 24 hour media shibby show that ESPN decided to give him.

Re: NFL 2015: Let's Talk About Balls

Packers to retire Favre's number on Thanksgiving vs Bears.

Somewhat surprised. Obviously he was a god in Packer country for years, but the yearly retirement discussions plus the Vikings tenure appeared to cause a rift.

I know I was in the minority at the time but I never really had a large problem with Favre, even when he left/jerked everyone around etc. He was fun to watch. He was a competitor. Part of me knew it would be an ugly breakup before it happened, but I was never one who wanted his head.

I think time has healed a lot of those wounds. Plus having a great QB to follow him up (one I would take in a heartbeat over Favre in part to never throwing interceptions) has helped tremendously. I hope he does not get booed, he does not deserve it.

Re: NFL 2015: Let's Talk About Balls

There are plenty of "Brent who's?" I still hear from Packer fans. There's a good chunk of that fanbase that will never get over it.
