There was a sign at the game quoting Tosh O, basically stating:Good call. You're looking at potential career earnings of anywhere from $50-200 million, maybe more, and you're pizzing it away cause you'd rather go boozing. Real smart.
where the hell are my color rush uniforms?!??!!?!?![]()
Did I miss something? When did the Packers and Lions trade places?
No slit. Baby blue and mustard yellow would be such an attractive combo.where the hell are my color rush uniforms?!??!!?!?![]()
Clearly, the man's thumb brushing the mask was a violation of the rules. No slit. Baby blue and mustard yellow would be such an attractive combo.
BTW, how about that fakemask? http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/12/04/facemask-rule-as-written-wasnt-violated-by-lions/

There was some yahoo in another thread chortling about Patriots fans complaining about referees. The zebras have stunk all year.BTW, how about that fakemask?

You're correct, it did look like a facemask in real time but I still stand my my statement that the officials in the NFL have been turrible this year. NBA worthy if you will.In real time, looked like a facemask.
On a quarterback.
A star quarterback.
I friggin' hate the Packers, but I don't blame the refs on this call one bit. And besides, the Lions only had to defend a 61 YARD HAIL *ING MARY to prevent the GB win. And you know, blowing a 20-point lead to begin with....
I can still see that as if it were yesterday. smhTo be fair, though, we brought up the 1976 Ray Hamilton roughing Snake Stabler, which, if I recall correctly looked awfully similar to the play last night.![]()
Clearly, the man's thumb brushing the mask was a violation of the rules.
To be fair to the ref, though, he was positioned at the wrong angle to see where the defenders hand grasped Rodgers. The back of the defender's arm and hand brushed against the helmet, causing it to twist the same as how a face mask tackle would, meaning 99% of the time it's going to be a penalty.
Basically, it's just the Lions going all Lions on themselves. Or an NFL conspiracy. How many of these Thursday and Monday night games have had close, miraculous finishes lately? Hmm...
Clearly, the man's thumb brushing the mask was a violation of the rules.
I can't take credit for this idea but I have seen plenty of coaches do it...why no Calvin Johnson out there to defend hail mary? I think I've seen Randy Moss and others do it before. One of those things where as a fan you might not think about it right away but a coach should.
Caldwell thought the Packers were going to try another lateral play. Why one would think a Top 3 QB and MVP would not be able to throw the ball 60 yards, I have no idea.
All he would have needed was one to Gronk.tom brady couldn't have got it there with 2 throws
