It's no coincidence that the two undefeated teams have the NFC East and the AFC South for their out-of-division games. It's like eight free wins.

Yes, true. If the Giants had any idea what clock management means though New England wouldn't be unbeaten. We'll see how they do against the Panthers.

Edmonton wins Grey Cup 26-20 over Ottawa.

Giants baffle me. They seem to play to the level of the competition. Which is OK if you play just well enough to win. But often they play just well enough to come close. Wouldn't be surprised if they lose to Miami and beat Carolina.

The FFL "rule" is Eli is Jeckyl/Hyde. Every other week is the pattern. So next week, he's going to kick all sorts of arse. It was COMICAL to watch him play today. He was THAT bad.

Osweiler can throw a long ball, apparently. I've only just tuned to the game, but it looks like he's bringing to Denver something Manning can't do anymore.

Twitter reporting gronk injury isn't as serious as initially believed. We eagerly await Bill letting us all know he has a lower body injury and is day to day. ;)

And the game was essentially decided by the replay reviewer. :mad:

And about the play — a ball thrown by Mike Reilly to Derel Walker with Brandon Sermons covering — was ruled an incomplete pass on the field. Edmonton coach Chris Jones, who hadn’t made a successful challenge all season long, believed Sermons interfered with Walker. The replay judges agreed.

Deadspin has been going to town on them. Apparently Sad Browns Fan is now the go to sad fan meme, eclipsing Sad Maple Leafs Fan and Sad Cubs Fan.

Looking ahead at our closeout schedule I just realized the Seahawks are probably going to make the playoffs at 10-6. That's... surprising.
