Sly posted a video that said Al Jazeera "somehow" got secret recordings of what he said.

He then told ESPN he knew they were secretly recording so he made everything up.

Well, which is it? And either way, why? If you think they're secretly recording, just choose not to comment. And if it's true and now you're afraid because it came out, why go and give information for a documentary?

Watching redzone, they say the seahawks are in at 9-5. Vikings are 9-5 but not in yet even though they own tiebreaker over falcons? How does that work? Falcons can get in only if all three end up 9-7 due to 3 team tiebreaker?

Ummmm, I don't thin Tolzein had the ball all the way out of the end zone. I think that's a safety.

Atlanta needs the Vikings and Seahawks to go 0-2 each. Then they would get in over Minnesota because Seattle beat the Vikings earlier in the year. Seattle is already 0-1.

After today, I'm wondering if I want the Packers to win next week. If standings hold, Carolina gets the one seed and Arizona the two.

A loss would make them the 5th seed with a trip to Washington. A win would most likely (possibly confirmed after tonight) set up a rematch in back to back weeks with the Vikings at Lambeau. That means for sure going to Arizona. Being the 5th seed means going to Carolina barring a Seattle win at Minnesota.

I would have to guess Green Bay and Minnesota gets flexed to the Sunday night game next week with it being a division championship game, so the weighing of options will be settled by kick off.

Yeah, but they don't schedule it until tomorrow. NFL went to a flex schedule for it a few years ago.

You're half right. The Vikings are out in that scenario, but head to head doesn't factor in since ATL and SEA didn't play each other. MN lost to SEA, but beat ATL.

Didn't know the new Vikings stadium was a fixed roof. That's disappointing. Not that they would have the roof open anyway for cold games, but sucks the NFC North is going to be two domes again.

There was much debate about it. Came down to cost, and how often the roof would actually be open. Wimps.

Had it been a convertible roof, it would've added between $300MM and $500MM to an already $1B stadium. Ain't no way that plan was going to ever pass.

Especially since the general public was against public funding of the stadium in the first place, which somehow bypassed a required referendum and was shoved down our throats.

Weren't there very weak threats of moving to LA if the stadium wasn't built? Looks like it will finally happen with one or two of STL/OAK/SD, but I swear half the league would be in LA if every team that threatened to go actually left.

There were "threats." Didn't fall for it. Learned our lesson from the whole "Twins to North Carolina/folding" from the Target Field incident.
