NFL 2015.1 - if the ball weighs as much as a duck, it's a catch!

Bridgewater is terrible.

I think we were watching different games. What did he do that was so terrible? He's not going to be an elite QB, but I wouldn't call him terrible in this game.

It's not just about this game. That last play certainly added a lot to my ever growing lack of confidence in him, though.

edit: And yeah, I'm definitely overstating when I call him terrible--that's true. I find the situation terrible. I think he's a dead end--you need someone with the potential to be an impact player at QB--I just don't see it.

KEY turnovers, IIRC ALL in ARI territory, helped seal that game.

That, and tonight everyone was saying "Need to pass the ball!" and he did. At one stretch he was 10-11 for 158. Yes, much of that was YAC, but stats are stats when making an overall argument....

I disagree. He can't be blamed for a fumble in the red zone or a fumble on an ill-conceived reverse. On that last play, he shouldn't be blamed for that fumble because the left tackle (won't utter his name anymore) can't hold his block. He was in the windup to throw the ball and Freeney just got there first. That's not on Teddy.

Don't forget Rhodes' dropped pick (may have even been a gimme pick six)...that was huge.

Not completely, no. There were several key contributors. But, that last play was inexcusable...can't happen, and totally avoidable.

It was a terrible play call and makes me think they didn't prep Teddy. 2 TOs, gave up 2 long TDs and they dropped one INT that was almost surely a TD. Sorry leave Teddy out of it.

I understand the protection was blown, but you're not going convince me that most quarterbacks wouldn't have been able to recognize the situation in time to get the ball out given that getting the ball out is about 95% of what you need to be thinking about on that play.

Anyone who blames teddy for that last play didn't actually watch it.

Well, it looks like he's not making the All Madden Team.

Nice job by philly and Bradford to let Buffalo have a shot at a tie or a win

Even better watching Boofalo when they got the ball back get their 14th penalty of the game and Tie Rod End throw the pick.

Matt Casell should send 50% of all the money he has made since he left the Pats to Belichick
