Re: NFL 2014-15: Iron Fist Getting Rusty?

Per NFL.com:

Next week's Bengals vs. Steelers game will be on Sunday Night Football.

Also, Packers vs. Lions for the NFC North has been moved to 4:25.

I would love to see the clusterfugg scenario of six AFC teams finishing 9 - 7.

The only way to win is not to play.

The best satire of the idiocy of sports "journalism" available today. I love that ESPN et al have their panties in a twist about it. He's showing them up for the talentless robots they either have been all along or have allowed themselves to become.

That one time when Seattle scored a touchdown?

;)

The blown coverage on the Wilson-Willson passes was poor D, but the rest of the time AZ actually looked good defensively, which is what made that game so scary. 600 yards against one of the better defenses in the league. The only real extenuating circumstance is Lindley was so awful it felt like the AZ defense was on the field for about 58 minutes.

You can really smell the self-righteousness from the reporters whenever they gripe about stuff like this. It's almost as bad as when they whine about press boxes that aren't up to their standards.

Oh yeah. Who's being rude, the athlete being forced to talk to the press not giving straight answers or the reporters shoving cameras and microphones into the face of the guy who just got done with work?

Nearly every Seattle fan I know is with Lynch.

Gruden: Peyton is one of the greatest crunch-time quarterbacks ever!

2 elapsed minutes later...

Bengals get a pick-6 off Manning.

Third only to pundits and scions in reward/ability ratio. Significantly worse than even politicians.

According to NFL.com, the Bucs will win the "Lose a Lotta For Marcus Mariota" sweepstakes with a loss to the Saints this Sunday.

I can't be the only one hoping for an Atlanta-Carolina tie, thus putting a 6-win team into the playoffs.
