Everyone who will have a job tomorrow, take one step forward. Zuerlein, not so fast....

The 49ers have fallen apart. They are being carved up by Oakland.

So the "Lame-is for Jameis" race is down to the Raiders, Titans, and Jets, with the Raiders in the driver's seat.

The Tampa Bay Succaneers now lay claim to the #1 overall pick. If Atlanta can somehow magically decide to take control of the NFC South, and give the Packers ebola overnight, then the Titans would have the same SoS (for now) as the Bucs.

The Packers are good at football.

Very good chance to win out with Buffalo and Tampa coming up. Then finish off with Detroit who hasn't won in GB in 23 years. Amazingly 13-3 might not even get the 1 seed, since Arizona could win out and would have the tiebreaker with a better conference record.

As a Lions fan, I'm writing off the Green Bay game. I believe if the Lions beat the Vikings and Bears, they COULD get the last playoff spot in the NFC.

Well, Philly plays Dallas next week, who they already beat on the road by 23. Then the Cowboys play the Colts and 'Skins. Assuming the Eagles win and the Lions only lose to the Packers that'll be enough to get in.

That would put the Lions at 11-5. That would get one of the wildcards. You're not going to have two wildcards at 12-4.

EDIT: At 11-5 the Lions would own the tiebreaker over the Cowboys and the Eagles (whichever does not win the NFC East) due to a conference record of 9-3. The best the Eagles or Cowboys could do is 8-4. Even conceding the tiebreaker with Seattle, the Lions would be in at 11-5.

Evidently the NFC South more of a car wreck than a train wreck...

Cam Newton in the hospital following an accident. His vehicle was overturned on a bridge.
