So now Ray Rice is a free agent. Will be interesting to see who, if anybody, signs him.

Meanwhile Janay Rice says she's "hazy" about what happened in the elevator. I guess that's what consuming a lot of alcohol and hitting an NFL athlete's fist with your chin will do.

In what world is that not a fumble? He threw the ball backwards...

Probably some stupid rule like one I saw earlier this year where even though the pass went backwards, they called it an incomplete pass because the arm was going forward. Well then, why aren't all dropped laterals incomplete since the arm goes forward those?

If the lateral goes forward, not a fumble. For laterals, it's the path of the ball. It's f'ed up, and I relate it to the "break the plane" rule for TDs.

I was working a hockey warming house that game. Closed up shop for the game. A bench was thrown clear across said warming house after that play. I was not happy.
