Re: NFL 2011: The Suck for Luck edition

I've got the feeling Tebow & Co. take out the Steelers. The Steelers might not have enough healthy bodies, and now they're down a RB coach.

Trent Dilfer's head would asplode. And the Tebow Time mania would be unbearable.

Re: NFL 2011: The Suck for Luck edition

It would be until next week when they go get boat-raced by the Patriots again. I don't see Cincy beating Houston.

Re: NFL 2011: The Suck for Luck edition

That's dumb. You should not let players dictate what you do as a team in the draft. They should take the best available player at 3, even if that is RG3. If they then want to trade him away for other assets, do so. But making those kinds of promises to players is just silly.

Anyone who thinks Robert Griffin III is the third best player in the draft needs their head examined. There is only one QB the Vikings need to worry about, Andrew Luck. Since he will be taken #1 overall, they don't need to worry about it unless they can trade up for super cheap, which they won't.

There are only 2 guys that they should worry about. They are named Blackmon and Kalil.

Ding ding.

Re: NFL 2011: The Suck for Luck edition

Has Mayock been neutered for this NBC game? On NFLN he's so smart, cynical, astute, critical when necessary. Today he loves everything -- he's Jon Gruden with proper grammar. He's reserved his harshest criticism for Charles Barkley. I hate it.

Re: NFL 2011: The Suck for Luck edition

I think that one's gonna come off the board. Got a PF against Spievey, though. New Orleans is still going to score before it's all said and done.

Wow, no chatter on the first playoff game?? What a stupid score. All the Falcons could manage was a safety? A playoff team? Nice job Atlanta! I will say that was one of the fastest playoff games ever. It was over before 4pm.

My official stance on the game was "watching Atlanta trying to play football is like watching Michael J Fox playing Jenga."

And next up:

Atlanta went for it on 4th and less than a yard TWICE and couldn't make it either time. Lousy game to watch, unless you are a Giants fan.

You couldn't place a kickoff like that again in a million years.

Re: NFL 2011: The Suck for Luck edition

Do voters take playoff performance into consideration for NFL MVP or is it regular season only?

Re: NFL 2011: The Suck for Luck edition

Come on Steelers. Treat Tebow like Big Ben treats one of his dates in a bathroom stall.

That FG should be enough to beat Denver. :D

It's supposed to be regular season only, but somehow I think that doesn't really hold true.

MVP should be ARodg, as much as I hate to admit it.

Per request:

Every time a Steeler is near Tebow, they should just tell him Lindsey Vonn is a lesbian, a la Paul Newman in Slap Shot.
