Favre upgraded from “out” to “questionable.” This guy just won't go away.

Reminds me of The Simpsons, Who Shot Mr. Burns...

Mr. Burns was transported to a hospital(Veterans) and was pronounced dead. He was then transported to a better hosptial where he was upgraded to alive.

Re: NFL 2010: $25K Fine For Talking About Fines

Man, I feel really dirty for riding Michael ****ing Vick to the championship games in two of my three leagues (including the only one with money on it). But hey, Machiavelli said it best I guess.

League 1 (semifinal, had first-round bye as second seed last week): Winning 139.1 - 92.2, I have Vikings D playing tonight, opponent has Matt Forte. My MVPs: Vick (45.7), Jason Witten (20.0). Should have played: Vincent Jackson (29.2) instead of Anquan Boldin (0.2), but hopefully it won't matter.

League 2 (semifinal of four-team playoffs, money league): Winning 102.8 - 53.3, my team is done, opponent has Adrian Peterson and Greg Olsen going tonight; I'm a little nervous that AP will erupt for a monster game and cost me this matchup, but hopefully the Bears D will key on him and it won't be an issue. My MVP: Vick (42.1). Should have played: Aaron Hernandez (16.7) instead of Antonio Gates (DNP); Brandon Lloyd (13.9) instead of Terrell Owens (0.0 and I think maybe done for the year), but, again, hopefully they won't matter.

League 3 (consolation bracket that I'm furious to be in, even though there's no money on it, because I have the best team in this league): Won 172.1 - 117.4. My MVPs: Calvin Johnson (29.2), Chris Johnson (26.2), Eli Manning (31.4). Sure, NOW this team scores some points.

Reminds me of Chevy Chase (the actor not the town in MD), SNL and Gen. Francisco Franco (he's still dead)

Adrian Peterson is Inactive tonight. But Brett Favre is warming up in an effort to play. Strange.

Re: NFL 2010: $25K Fine For Talking About Fines

So, my fantasy team needs 2 points to tie on the week, I had Peterson left, and he's out.. my opponent is done... Do I pick up Chester Taylor from Chiago or Toby Gerhart from Minnesota to win!?

Re: NFL 2010: $25K Fine For Talking About Fines

Favre in and Peterson out. I have the urge to congratulate the Bears on winning the NFC North, but this crazy week is stopping me from doing that quite yet.

Re: NFL 2010: $25K Fine For Talking About Fines

Update, now Favre is listed as starting for the Vikings.

So he wusses out of a game in a state-of-the-art domed stadium to break tStreak, and now he wants to start the Chris Kluwe Trainwreck Bowl?

If he would have even start-and-parked it last week, he'd be at 299 tonight and he would have gotten what he wanted all along, 300 straight starts.

Re: NFL 2010: $25K Fine For Talking About Fines

Luckily I have Gerhart on my bench. Now all I need him to do is score 3 TDs, gain 150 yards, and then have the Vikings D get me 13 points!

Maybe he just secretly hates Joe Webb.

Bummer for all the folks who started Webb at WR.

I needed 40 points from Peterson, who is out tonight. It was a longshot to begin with.

I had benched Rodgers, Jennings (who I should have kept in) Brandon Jackson and the Green Bay Defense. Great time for injuries.

Also didnt help that I had Boldin who got a whole 2 yards, and I had Gronkowski in at TE instead of Hernandez. :(

These people on ESPN keep saying that the wind chill is below zero, but it isn't. All the local channels say it is roughly ten degrees with it.

According to the National Weather Service, the windchill in Minneapolis, MN is -12 degrees...celcius

This field looks like it's glare ice. Awesome.

Much better crowd than I expected, given the travel difficulties today.

You could hear the MN Rouser coming out of commercial break. :D
