Re: NFL 2009 Thread #3: The Quest for Perfection

I hope my opponent in a championship game doesn't notice that he's starting Steven Jackson...

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #3: The Quest for Perfection

Can the wildcard host opening weekend? Or is it like the NBA/NHL where the division winners automatically get the top seeds?

Division winners host. Last year the Colts went to San Diego...

eff me. Ricky Williams and Aaron Rogers do nothing today and now I need to overcome 38 points with Peterson and Rice up against Wells.

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #3: The Quest for Perfection

I'm pretty much screwed. Got very little production from either of my running backs because the Dolphins (27-0) and Jaguars (28-0) played terrible first halves, which also screwed my quarterback (Matt Schaub), who threw for about 250 yards in the first half and about 30 in the second.

Ah, yes, I remember that now. So, the Packers could end up with the three seed and still have to go on the road. Well, the awesome thing about that is it would be a back-to-back weeks rematch with the Cardinals.

If the Packers get the first wildcard, they would play at Arizona. If Dallas passes them, they would play at Philly.

Probably...

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #3: The Quest for Perfection

The Colts have pulled Peyton...15-10 lead in the 3rd.

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #3: The Quest for Perfection

The Colts getting away with pass interference? Knock me over with a feather.

21-15 Jets...

In other news, thank you Frank Gore and Donovan McNabb! :)

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #3: The Quest for Perfection

Mike Carey's crew is pathetic. That's about the third personal foul he's missed on the Broncos, including that last excessive celebration and on the fumble recovery the Bronco player taking off their helmet on the field.

Not to mention the absurd personal foul for lighting up Scheffter on a perfectly legal block after the interception!

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #3: The Quest for Perfection

It's a wonder I even made the finals.

I start Manning over Moore = WRONG

I start Jacobs over Mendenhall = WRONG

Ugh.

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #3: The Quest for Perfection

Colts uninterested in going undefeated. Can't believe they pulled Peyton.

He better not even play next week.

Ugh.

Starting the Giants D/ST over the Jets D/ST was a slight mistake.
