This Rodgers guy is pretty good. Wonder where they got him?

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #3: The Quest for Perfection

Well two times Fitzie has ran down the field, knocked the defender over and then gotten wide open for a TD: besides that what do you mean by the rules being tilted toward offense?

- Pass interference if you are within a football fields length of the receiver.
- Roughing the passer if you hit someone who's on the same team as the QB or used to be.

Things like that. :D

This is going to be won by the OT coin flip.

Edit: Which means we'll have a few dozen articles about changing NFL OT again.

Rolle should have let Finley score, they're going to anyway

I'm fine with either type of OT (1st to score, alternating possessions). Both have merit to me.

Each team gets a possession, then it goes to sudden death? That might cause problems because if you score first you probably onside kick because if you get the ball back its automatically over?

Or make a team win by 6 to win.

Play "normal" football. Team A scores a TD. Team B must score a TD on the next possession to continue the game.

If Team A scores a FG, then if Team B scores a TD, game over. If Team B scores a FG, continue play.

If the Packers could actually cover someone, they'd have put the Cardinals away a long time ago.

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #3: The Quest for Perfection

Who's the idiot who called TO with 14 secs left?

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #3: The Quest for Perfection

Bad FG kicking in the NFL? Unpossible!

No, those are 2 separate types. I didn't mean to combine them. :)
