Re: NFL 2009 Thread #2

The first time a Washington CB covers a Saints WR will be the first time...

That looks like a catch to me.

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #2

That is an NFL rule, not Fox's rule FWIW

Yeah I know...but they should allow some flexibility. Certainly you should show the local game if it's late in the game too or the one you're leaving is a blowout. But in this case the final minutes of big game versus the opening few minutes of another?

But that isnt up to FOX so blaming them seems rather trite dont you think?

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #2

Campbell is going to throw a pick 6 and the Saints will escape despite the fact they gave up 350 yards passing to one of the worst offenses in the league.

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #2

I could really use a TD out of Cartwright...:p

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #2

That's a fumble and the Redskins are morons for not quickly running a play.

But then they wouldn't be the Redskins, would they?

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #2

Nice job by Washington stalling...they are going to lose the ball on this play because of it. They should have been rushing to the line to call a play not standing around with their thumbs up their butts.

edit: Ok maybe not but it is clooooooose

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #2

Do they have HD in the booth, or is the NFL cheapskates like the SEC?

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #2

Who is shocked that the refs gave the Saints the ball there?

The Redskins had been shooting themselves in the foot all game they couldnt tell the refs to let them do it again in OT? I am not a conspiracy guy but but that call reeks.

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #2

Even I think it was out before he was down. Well, another almost win, which to us is like a win!

The replay showed his arm was down first...it doesnt matter this loss falls on Landry's shoulders and the kickers.

Someone tell Zorn to stop trying to ice the kicker it just gives the Saints a reason to call another play.
