Know how bad Russell sucks?

4th and short for the Raiders. Rolls out. Has a guy at the 1st down marker wide open. Doesn't throw to him. Sees a guy a few more yards downfield, also wide open. Tanks the throw. Badly.

Why was the call confirmed? Pretty confused because nothing on replay shows that it hit Reed. It was close, but I don't think it hit him.

If the Eagles hang on to lose Philly fans will be so riled up they will boo the Phillies during team intros tonight.

Older people like to mention where they were when certain historical events happened.

"I was in third grade in Mrs. "So and So's" class when I heard JFK was shot.

I remember exactly where I was during that Houston comeback.

i remember watching that. i was in nyc on e39th st at the appt of my friends from BU.

earliest 'thing' i remember is watergate hearings on tv.

...i've borrowed that houston oilers #1 fight song for our friends up comm ave ;) :
newton college

What happens if the Ravens play Indianapolis and the AFL decides to do this ridiculous throwback uniform crap?

Re: NFL 2009 (or, in Super Bowl nomenclature, MMIX)

I'm sorry, I would rather watch a blowout than watch that crap that I've been forced to watch all game.

People want to watch history!

Brady and Moss have put up a combined 85 points in my league...my opponent this week has both. Thankfully the rest of his team sucks (LenDale White has -1 and Nate Washington has -2, plus he started Miles Austin on a bye week) and he only has Gonzalez left tonight (I have Knox, Rivers, Gates, and Royal left), and I'm up by 7.

Mark Sanchez sucks in weather below 60. What a weenie.

Not sure I'd go that far, but I will say that even if they do come back and win I will consider it a loss. If you aren't leading the Raiders by at least 20 by halftime, you have no right to feel good about the game.

Gotta love football bravado; a Titan DB actually makes a defensive play and he shakes his head at the receiver like he saved a Super Bowl win. Way to keep the Pats out of the 60s, dude.

Hey, the comeback has to start somewhere! :D
