Re: "Next Year" Begins Now: Michigan Tech 2010-11 Season Thread Part I

Woot!! I get to go to Duluth next weekend:) It will only cost me a full saturday of christmas shopping but with 2 kids I guess I can't complain to get a weekend to go:) Anyways I have never watched a game at the DECC, can anyone give me some info on seating in there or is it an arena that really doesn't have a bad seat.

An another note, hey Shirtless would this possible recruit your talking about possibly be playing on the US developmental team atm (and no I'm not talking about Johnson)??

I'd like to confirm but any confirmation I did get, unless I actually contacted one of the 2 brothers would not be able to be public knowledge. If there is any truth to this, we will probably hear something between the 10th and 17th of November.

Personally the less said about potential recruits the better.
Sorry to hear about Baker, we need him, and Schooley too.

If true, I'm guessing that this isn't the first time we've targeted an NTDP player, and we've yet to win one of those battles; just saying.

I do hope it's true and that the news is ultimately positive.

That's what I was going to say. If you buy tickets through Tech you'll be at ice level in the corner, which normally wouldn't be too bad, but the DECC doesn't have a video screen, so you can't see some of the play on the other end in the corner.

I wish we'd get different seats than those, it's a lot more more work to project cheers and such when you're sitting behind a 10 foot section of glass

I'm pretty sure that's the point. ;)

If they allowed you to sit in the actual seating area, you'd probably riot and take over the joint.

Just to let you guys know, that if the Gophers put up the same effort as they did last night, be prepared to celebrate a sweep. No, I'm not sandbagging. Let's put it this way: tArrogant shirt will NOT be making the trip this year.

So what's this I hear about a certain moped and Budish?

Some sort of accident. Details haven't been released, AFAIK. Out for the year, most likely. He can redshirt, and if he does, then he'll have surgery. Torn ACL.

Ouch, at least it's early enough for that redshirt still

I believe this is false. Look up Bryan Perez.
