For some reason McLovin's thing about the vampire being the shark from Jaws has increased my interest in this.

I saw Cowboys and Aliens...what the heck were Harrison Ford and John Favreau thinking?

I mean wow...just outright terrible.

Is it, "Wait for the rental and prepare to laugh your arse off" bad? Or just...Bad. Period.

I coulda told you that and saved you some money. The title alone says it all. I still can't believe they made that movie. No, I haven't seen it.

I watched "You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger"....

not Woody Allen's best work. Not even close. Very forgettable.

I just got back from it. We determined if you just turn your brain off, it's pretty enjoyable. The more you think about it, the worse it gets.

I tried that...then they would talk about a plot point and my brain would try and sneak back on and meltdown ensues :p

I still dont know what Harrison Ford was doing...anyone could have played. Felt rather mailed in.

The only person of value was Daniel Craig...

Is it me, or does cable TV blanking the n-word in Blazzing Saddles kinda defeat the purpose of showing the movie?

The last prank in Jackarse 2 still gets me every time. Probably their best work. 3 levels of prankness, ultimate hilarity.

The weekend of father's day my family goes up to our cabin in Grand Rapids when my dad runs Grandma's marathon and we have a huge family reunion (including family coming in from Chi and Baton Rouge). This year that Sat night we were all doing different things and I happened to see that MTV was running a JA marathon through the night. Knowing that my parents and aunt/uncle would never regularly watch the show, I had a gut feeling that this night would be the right time to turn the channel on and tell them to sit and watch. I've rarely seen my mother bust a gut so hard and despite the fact they've said they'd never watch the show again it was it an awesome experience seeing them get such a huge kick out of it all.

Ditto with my parents. I skipped the obvious parts of Parts 1 and 2 (toy car up the arse-type stuff), and they were in tears. A generation bridge was gapped there.

I got my dad watching the JA stuff a while back. He laughed a ton. Then as he would search for episodes of JA on tv he saw WildBoyz and started watching that too. Not as good but it has its moments.
