Okay, on a serious note. I would much prefer that Friday's matchup be at the Lake, given that you guys are just getting all your pieces back in place. I'd feel better about our chances to take 2 points in this series if the first game action the Eagles saw as a full squad weren't at Conte.

I would also much prefer that Sophia Vergara was in the other room waiting for me to finish this post, but I think I actually have more of chance of influencing HEA scheduling.

UNH wins both games easily. BC is nothing more than a mediocre team at this point and shouldn't be much of a problem especially the way they were man handled by Minnesota and Yale.

Got tickets for the game on Saturday. Looking forward to it after watching the other HE marquee match-up on Friday night, Maine @ NU :rolleyes:

I'm really interested in seeing the UNH D try to defend 13. They're big and physical, so let's see if they try and hit him around a little bit. I thought the same thing about the Canada defense, though, and look how that turned out.

A week ago, I thought UNH would take 3 points because this series would mean more to them. After the drubbing BC took at Mariucci though, I see BC winning on Friday and UNH winning Saturday.

Any idea why this game isn't 7:30 with it on NESN? Not that it matters but those extra 30 minutes helps getting to Conte on a Friday night.

Hmmm... if we "steal a point," the inference being of course that both games, with their attendant 4 points, rightfully belong to BC, and for UNH to acquire even one point, it must be taken in an unlawful manner.

Now that's some serious chutzpa. Titles don't mean entitlement.

I wondered the same thing. I checked BCeagles.com and also HE site and both still say 7:00:confused: I want to go to Tartufo before the game and that extra 30 minutes is critical:)


Edit: I just went on NESN's site and the pregame show is at 6:30 and game time 7:00, I wonder why the change? Also, for those interested , on NESN at 4:00 Friday "The Beanpot 60 Years of Boston Hockey History" is on and at 5:00, "The Battle of Comm Ave" .

Saw the "Battle" show last night prior to the Minnesota - Notre Dame. Pretty cool history - great perspectives from old timers!
