Re: NCAA Northeast Regional: Maine (3) vs. MN-Duluth (2)

I'm gone for less than 5 minutes and the Dawgs score TWICE!!

Re: NCAA Northeast Regional: Maine (3) vs. MN-Duluth (2)

Regardless of how the goals were scored, Maine is completely out of sorts right now.

Intermission couldn't come soon enough.

That will always happen when you do a Timmay shell, sitting on a 2-0 lead.

no whistle until the team that knocks the net off gets possession

That's great and all that you can't blow the whistle until the team that knocked the net off gets possession. But in the meantime, the team with the puck isn't allowed to score, as Michigan State learned last night when the Union guy had knocked the net free.

For those curious...Bruins are 4 minutes into their game and ARE NOT losing yet! A festivus miracle.

Not allowed to score? So lets just skate in circles until the other team touches the puck?

You can't score ON the goal that has been knocked free. You can score on the other goal though.
