NCAA Hockey - 2023/24 **Insert Witty Tagline**

Ok, but you were up by 2 and then down by 1. So what happened on the rest of the goals?

What happens if they don't miss the call on the tying goal? Or on the GWG? Any computer sim would have put the odds in their favor to a significant degree.

Whenever someone says, "that's not why they lost" I find it to be such a lazy comment. And I feel the same way when it doesn't hurt my team.

Yes, the Gophers gave up a 2-goal lead (with a LOT of that being their own damn fault) but in all reality not all of that is on them given what transpired on at least one of goals 2 and 3, and also on goal 4.

So while I agree in theory "the refs didn't cost them the game" to be polite, the fact is "FUCK OFF" and call the game correctly. :)

This is why I have never, ever believed in the "let the players decide the game" in overtime philosophy. Because, I always say, if you do, you are just saying, let the team which "cheats" the most decide the game.

But even coaches are constantly saying let the players decide it, so the culture in hockey, and it spreads to the refs, is not to call anything in OT.

Did anyone also see the 2OT game earlier? There were literal muggings all the way down the ice, and nothing was called.
MSU-OSU last week was the same. MSU got away with the same player slashing the goalie’s stick out of his hands and then hitting the helmet off a skater within five seconds. No call for either.
