NBA 2010-11: KobeJesus vs. the LeBronathon

Re: NBA 2010-11: KobeJesus vs. the LeBronathon

Nice play by Bynum, The Lakers true colors shining thru

Re: NBA 2010-11: KobeJesus vs. the LeBronathon

What else would you expect out of that team? They are a rotten group of people, right from the top, all the way down.

Re: NBA 2010-11: KobeJesus vs. the LeBronathon

OKC wins in quadruple overtime, and Perkins gets 4 points. Doesn't even break double digits in rebounds, and finished with a -10. On the team that won by 10.

Did the trade make both teams worse? Boston could have used a little interior defense tonight. Especially in the 4th qtr and OT.

Of course, it's probably true that the Heat have simply passed Boston. It was bound to happen. And, hey, Boston had a nice run. Remember the 90s? Uh huh.

Re: NBA 2010-11: KobeJesus vs. the LeBronathon

Great job, cHeat. You are going to win a series because you nearly broke Rondo's arm. I'm a Knicks fan, but that was uncalled for. I wonder if Wade is practicing for WWE when the lockout takes place. Kurt Angle would be proud of that takedown.

Stay classy, Miami!

Re: NBA 2010-11: KobeJesus vs. the LeBronathon

Unfortunately the Celts are done and here are the big reasons why.

Rondo: Great heart playing with one arm. Unfortunately he's playing with one arm and it shows.
Garnett: Settling for outside jumpers which is even worse when most clank off the rim.
Allen: Subpar behind the arc.
Big Baby: Apparently he's been donning the cloak of invisibility lately.
Shaq: Reduced to window dressing. Shaq's health was the big gamble in the Perk trade, unfortunately it didn't pan out.

While Garnett and Allen are capable of having a great game left in them there are just too many issues to overcome to win this series. :(

Re: NBA 2010-11: KobeJesus vs. the LeBronathon

Looks Miami is going to win it all unfortunately. I don't see Dallas/OKC or Memphis beating them and the Bulls haven't looked great. I doubt Atlanta could do it either. It is a shame that the NBA is turning into a 5 or 6 team league. Maybe we should keep our fingers crossed and hope that a lockout could change things. Probably wishful thinking though.

Re: NBA 2010-11: KobeJesus vs. the LeBronathon

Bynum given five games at the start of next season and $25K fine for the foul and the manner in which he left the court Sunday.

Re: NBA 2010-11: KobeJesus vs. the LeBronathon

Is the season over yet? Did Miami beat the Lakers? Thats all Ive seen on ESPN lately.

Re: NBA 2010-11: KobeJesus vs. the LeBronathon

So I have to root for the Bulls to deny Miami a title opportunity?

Excuse me as this Knicks fan dies inside at that notion. The Bulls stole my basketball childhood and Patrick Ewing's ring he deserved. I may just root for that kook from Iran to calibrate his missles on the United Center or the American Airlines Arena in Miami.

Re: NBA 2010-11: KobeJesus vs. the LeBronathon

American Airlines paid the NBA in a conspiracy to have the NBA Title series between Dallas and Miami, which will be played at Dallas (American Airlines Center) and Miami (American Airlines Arena).

So that explains why I have to pay 50 bucks for my checked luggage.

Well, let the rebuilding process begin in Cleveland.

The Cavs just won the NBA draft lottery with their SECOND of two lottery picks. The one that actually won was the one they got from the Clippers though and only had a 2 percent chance of winning I think?

They will also select fourth with their own pick.

The sun will be shining a little brighter in Cleveland tomorrow with this news.

Good for them.
