I would be very happy if the Bucks could take one game in their playoff series. That's all I'm asking. I would wager most of America is rooting for them.

Center Jason Collins has announced he is gay. He is the first active player in the four major North American sports leagues to come out.

I don't follow basketball, but in today's America, this shouldn't be as big as a story as it is. Sadly, I also believe his career is over, since he is a free agent. Scary to think that the NBA now becomes a model for the rest of the sports world to follow.

Re: NBA 2010-11: KobeJesus vs. the LeBronathon

Considering what has been rumored to happen with a handful of NFL players considering coming out, I think you might be wrong about it becoming a model for what's to come, although that might be the case with Collins.

Saw this, laughed hysterically:

“@Dustinpenner25: Honestly I don't care if you are gay or straight as my teammate. As long as you don't listen to Nickelback. #courage”

Crawford will referee game 6. Tim Duncan says Crawford has a "personal vendetta" against him. That's not really fair to say, just because Crawford once ejected Duncan for the terrible crime of laughing.

Is the NBA less credible than the WWE yet?

What do you mean by yet? I thought it was already waaay past that point.

Under a minute. Spurs by 2. Let's see how the NBA rams it up the Spurs' *** this time.

Re: NBA 2010-11: KobeJesus vs. the LeBronathon

Wow, that was pretty cool. I've had about enough of basketball and can go to bed now.

Re: NBA 2010-11: KobeJesus vs. the LeBronathon

No need to watch Game 7. Heat will win by at least 30.

Re: NBA 2010-11: KobeJesus vs. the LeBronathon

So Doc is going to LA to coach the Clippers. The game plan was to get around the NBA by trading KG in a week or so so it doesn't look like a package deal. Now the NBA has said it will not approve any trades between the Celtics and Clippers this summer - and that both sides knew that was the deal when it was made. So basically, Doc told KG to p!$$ off so he could cash Donald Sterling's check. Wonder what the Celtics will do now...
