NBA 2010-11: KobeJesus vs. the LeBronathon

Re: NBA 2010-11: KobeJesus vs. the LeBronathon

Lakers do NOT hire Phil Jackson, they select Mike D'Antoni instead. *raises eyebrows*

Bulls hold the Hawks to 20 points in the first half. TWENTY.

ETA: Five points in the second quarter on 2/21 shooting. In hockey terms, the rim had a .905 save percentage.

In related news, the Philadelphia Flyers are in talks with said rim...

Rondo has a torn ACL.

Bill Simmons is going to walk his dog all the way to Phoenix.

Dear America,

You're welcome....

Love,
Da Bulls :D

Very enjoyable to watch the heat refuse to shake hands and scurry off the court...you know if they won they would have been all hugs and smiles so it wasn't the competition etc...just further demonstrated lebron is a d-bag.

Wow, that's a bummer aspect. I was beginning to let the Heat grow on me but if they pouted in poor sporstmanship fashion...

they are upset the Bulls were physical with them...I know all spoiled pro athletes have the ability to whine etc. but it comes across as so much more than just whining when it is somebody who A) makes ridiculous money, even for a pro athlete B) takes advantage of every benefit of being a marquee player.

There was some commentary on ESPN the other day that the league isn't any better or worse than it was when the Lakers were winning 33 in a row. I completely disagree with that. There were fewer teams so the best players were concentrated better and you also had to play the same teams multiple times per year. There were 17 teams, the Lakers played the Celtics 5 times in the regular season and had weeks in which they played 3 other division leaders in a row. Lebron would run out of binkies and tissues if he had to play that type of schedule.

ABA, lot of the best players weren't even in the NBA, were they?
